As part of ongoing efforts to engage key internal stakeholders, the Parliamentary Broadcasting Department of the Public Affairs Subdivision has held a strategic meeting with the Legislative Management Services, headed by Deputy Clerk Mr. Camilo Pwamang.
The meeting, which forms part of a broader stakeholder outreach plan, aimed to update the Legislative Management Service division on the progress made toward operationalizing the GH Parliament TV channel.
The Broadcasting Department outlined several milestones achieved so far, including the setup of a functional studio, onboarding of core production and editorial staff, development of programming concepts, and ongoing technical upgrades to support live and recorded broadcasts. The team also presented a roadmap for content creation and collaboration with other parliamentary departments to ensure comprehensive coverage of legislative activities.
Mr. Pwamang commended the department for the significant progress made and expressed the subdivision’s readiness to provide any necessary support. He emphasized the importance of a well-coordinated approach to ensure GH Parliament TV becomes a reliable and professional platform that enhances transparency, public engagement, and appreciation of the work of Parliament.
