In a scene that left market traders stunned and confused, a dramatic spiritual confrontation unfolded at the bustling Kejetia Market on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, as a local pastor and a woman believed to be mentally ill engaged in what witnesses are calling a “supernatural power exchange.”

Eyewitnesses report that the confrontation began when the pastor, known for his street evangelism in the area, was preaching.

The woman, however, refused to back down—instead, she began gesturing wildly, throwing her hands into the air as if to display her own spiritual powers.

Shouts of “In the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus!” echoed from the crowd of traders and bystanders as the strange standoff escalated.

In a bizarre twist, the woman grabbed the pastor’s Bible and appeared to wield it against him. According to those who witnessed the clash, she began to chant and speak in tongues while holding the Bible, prompting gasps from onlookers.

“It was like something from a movie,” said Ama Serwaa, a tomato seller. “We didn’t know who was casting out who.”

The pastor, visibly shaken, eventually stepped back while continuing to pray aloud, as the woman danced and gestured, seemingly in spiritual defiance.

The incident lasted several minutes before the woman walked away.

The confrontation has since gone viral on social media, sparking debate over mental health, faith, and the thin line between spiritual warfare and public spectacle.
