Creative Business and Intellectual Property Consultant, Benjamin Oduro Arhin Jnr popularly known as Bnoskka has expressed his utmost disappointment as to why Charterhouse, organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards refused to recognise Patience Nyarko’s contribution and her hits songs in 2020.

Bnoskka speaking on Kasapa 102.5FM Entertainment show with Eddie Ray on April 3, 2021 discussing the VGMA nominees release, that he is very disappointed why the Best Gospel Song of year category of 2020 year of review omit Patience Nyarko hits songs.

According to Bnoskka, Patience Nyarko has hits songs released in 2020 which falls under the VGMA22 year of review: 1. Back to Sender, 2. Nkunim, 3. My Light, 4. Meye Nyame Dea and do not understand why non of these songs or at least one could not nominated.

Bnoskka said Unbreakable Joyce Blessing also had similar very powerful hits songs like: 1. Yendanase 2. Running Over 3. Adam Nana and etc. so the question is why are these top most brands with wonderful hits songs could not be part of this year’s VGMA22 Nominations?

“Could it also be that Patience Nyarko and Unbreakable Joyce Blessing have lost hope and interest in Charter House organizing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards?” Bnoskka asked

Bnoskka opined that Vodafone Ghana Music Awards organized by Charter House has come to stay and year by year the standard should maintain and worked on. He said he personally thinks the awards ceremony for each year and its euphoria seems to be dying down due to consistent errors and the masses dissatisfaction on certain awardees. If care is not taken people’s interest and hope in the scheme will dwindle and die out.
