The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Divine Congregation-Anyaa held its 2022 Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

The day was also marked as a traditional Sunday with a touch of the Ghanaian tradition and cultural display

Alongside the Annual Harvest which was the main event of the day, members of the church displayed various colourful traditional regalia representing different tribes in Ghana.

The Minister-In-Charge, Rev. Patrick Adjei Acheampong admonished the congregation to be thankful to God for His mercies and make selfless sacrifices for the advancement of the work of God and the upliftment of the church.  He also encouraged them to strengthen their faith in God and make their relationship with Him a priority.

Presbyter (Mrs.) Mavis Okyere, the Kwashieman District Lay Representative, Chaired the function.   She emphasized that the traditional touch in this year’s celebration was a way to encourage our youth to embrace and uphold our beautiful traditions while serving God.

She also lauded the Harvest Committee for successfully organizing such an event.

The occasion was climaxed with some competitive cultural dances by the various tribal groups.
