The Mamprobi District Women’s Ministry in the Dansoman Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated assorted items worth GHC 9,000.00 to the female ward of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

Accompanied by Mrs Regina Amankwatia (Wife of the District Minister), the women visited the facility and handed over various food items, water, drinks, bedsheets, sanitary pads, toothpaste and brushes, gallons of liquid soap, parazone, sanitisers as well as new and used clothing to officials of the hospital during a visit on November 12, 2022.

In a brief exhortation based on Matthew 25:31-40, Mrs Regina Amankwatia encouraged the patients to believe in God as their ultimate healer and source of their wellbeing.

She also said the women are following what Jesus Christ said about caring for the sick as well as fulfilling their social responsibility by giving to society. Therefore, they should trust God for their miracle.

Receiving the items, the official in charge of the Ward thanked the Women’s Ministry for the support.

Deaconess Miriam Tagoe, an Area Women’s Ministry Executive Committee Member, prayed for the staff and the patients asking for divine intervention in their health, spiritual, physiological and emotional lives.

The staff and patients expressed joy and appreciation to God and the Church through song ministrations.
