A fire outbreak has destroyed parts of the Zenith University College near the Accra International Trade Fair Centre, La, destroying several property.
The unfortunate incident is said to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
According to a report, the inferno ravaged two offices, one store and two recreational centres of the University.
Although no casualties were recorded, the fire is also said to have destroyed properties worth thousands of cedis.
The timely intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service prevented the fire from further destroying more properties as they worked tirelessly for about three hours to douse the fire.
About five fire tenders were said to have been mobilised from the Trade Fair site.
The Fire Service personnel have started investigations to unravel the cause of the fire.
