Reggie Zippy of the famous music group, Reggie ‘n’ Bollie fame, broke down in tears during the pre-burial church service of his late mother, Cecilia Arko Koomson.

The late Cecilia Arko Koomson, who passed on Friday, August 27, at 55, was laid in a casket during the pre-burial service held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church at Dansoman in Accra.

The moment Reggie Zippy broke down in tears during a performance by gospel singer, JAYANA [Jemima Annor-Yeboah], was captured on camera.

Jayana’s emotional ministration got guests in the church auditorium shedding ‘uncontrollable’ tears.

She kept everyone weepy with her powerful vocal as she set social media ablaze with guests applauding her world-class delivery.

Reggie Zippy who could not hold back his tears was consoled by Jayana as the gospel minstrel walked down to his seat to minister the popular hymn ‘Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah’.

Reggie Zippy was overcome with emotions as he constantly wiped his tears. The ‘Bad Man’ hitmaker held the final funeral rites for his late mother on Saturday, November 13, before her internment.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of music duo Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe of Keche, Lucky Mensah, Abeiku Santana, KK Fosu, Bollie, A Plus, Dada Hafco, Asamoah Gyan, Jayana, Gloria Safo, Tagoe Sisters, Appietus, Skrew Face, Trigmatic and Ohemaa Wo Yε Jε.

Also in attendance was Stacey Amoateng, Sammy Flex, Doreen Avio, DJ Laposta, Mr Haglah, Mr Handsome, Ajeezay, Wei Yε Oteng, Fredima, Kobby Kyei, Eugene Osafo Nkansah, among other personalities in Ghana’s entertainment industry who were at the funeral on Saturday to mourn with the family.
