The Ghana Police Service on Tuesday July 16 2024, arrested suspect, Nana Poku Piesie alias Kwabena, who was seen in a viral video claiming to have had sexual intercourse with a minor.
According to the man, he has had sexual intercourse with the minor since she was in class 6. The video which has since gone viral received condemnation from the general public with celebrities like Sarkodie and Lydia Forson calling for his arrest.
In a brief statement by the police, the suspect is in custody assisting police investigations and assuring the public that he will be taken through the due process of the law.
