The Ghana Police Service on Tuesday 3rd September 2024, arrested one person in connection with a shooting incident at Bereku in the Central Region.
The suspect, Nai Akwasi Lartey, who was wielding a pump action gun shot and injured one person during the Awubia Festival. The victim was sent to the hospital for medical attention.
The pump action gun with some BB cartridges has been retrieved from the suspect.
Suspect Nai Akwasi Lartey is in Police custody assisting in the investigation.
