The Ghana Police Service has arrested three additional suspects in connection with the murder of Devendra Singh, an Indian national.

These latest arrests bring the total number of suspects in custody to four. The developments follow a missing person report that initially launched a widespread search for the deceased.

A major breakthrough occurred on April 25, 2026. Acting on a tip-off at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers located the victim’s abandoned vehicle on the outskirts of Sabin Akrofuom, near Royal Lemosey Hospital.

Upon inspecting the vehicle, officers discovered the body of Devendra Singh in the boot.

He had sustained multiple stab wounds.

At a press conference on Friday, May 8, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs for the Ghana Police Service, announced that intelligence operations on April 29 and 30 led to the capture of Osman Moro, also known as Tiago, 20; Hakim Kudjoe Jnr; and Moro Sulley, alias Moro Aboboyaa.

These individuals were arrested following the initial apprehension of suspect John Adokpo, also known as Peter.

Police revealed that Hakim Kudjoe Jnr admitted to his involvement in the crime. He told investigators that on April 24, he and Moro Sulley entered the deceased’s workplace to replace the CCTV camera server. Kudjoe Jnr subsequently led police to the location where the server was hidden.

Further details from the confession indicate that Kudjoe Jnr took the victim’s iPhone 17 Pro Max and a Tecno mobile phone following the murder. He allegedly gave the iPhone to Osman Moro and the Tecno phone to Moro Sulley. Osman Moro later led officers to a bush in Kaase, where the iPhone was found buried in a hole, wrapped in an envelope and covered with leaves.

ACP Ansah-Akrofi identified Moro Sulley as the accomplice who assisted in tampering with the CCTV system.

Additionally, suspect John Adokpo admitted to driving the victim’s vehicle to the spot where it was eventually discovered by police.

“All the suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations, while efforts are ongoing to arrest two other persons believed to be connected to the case,” she stated.
