A Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCOP Agrippa Francis Oppong at the National Headquarters of the Ghana Police Service has been installed as Boagyaa Adontenhene.
The top police officer will bear the the traditional stool name “Nana Okokodurofo Oppong Kyekyeku”
The Boagyaahene, Nana Osei Nyame Boateng II and his chiefs of Boagyaa traditional area have tasked him to spearhead the development of Boagyaa and boost security in the sixteen communities of Boagyaa traditional area.
DCOP Nana Okokodurufo Oppong Kyekyeku in an interview said, “as a war lord, and a police officer, I’m going to be with the people of Boagyaa traditional area at all times by monitoring to ensure that security is rest assured. I will also ensure that, no multiple disposal of land and there’d be no illegal mining activities at Boagyaa. I’m also going to work assiduously with Nananom to mass up infrastructural development without discrimination and ensure with one accord, Boagyaa becomes what we all want”
