I am submitting this urgent complaint along with undeniable video and photographic evidence that exposes a large-scale police extortion ring operating within the Jaman North Police Command.
This is not an isolated incident; it is a systemic betrayal of public trust led by senior officers.
I was recently stopped by officers for a minor motorcycle helmet issue. Instead of following the law, they immediately demanded cash (extortion). When I insisted on a legal receipt and photographed the officer taking the money, I was met with aggression, intoxicated backup officers, and was subsequently wrongfully arrested and detained.
Systemic Corruption Exposed
While in custody, I witnessed firsthand how deep this corruption runs:
• Leadership Involvement: The Crime Officer and other high-ranking leaders are directing junior officers to set up illegal checkpoints across Jaman North.
• Targeting the Poor: The purpose of these checkpoints is not crime prevention, but pure extortion from poor citizens—including those taking family members to the hospital or going to their farms.
• Sharing the Profits: The junior officers are required to return to the station and render financial accounts to the senior leadership, who then take their cut of the illegal proceeds.
The attached evidence clearly identifies the officer who arrested me and visually documents these illegal activities.
I urge C to use its powerful platform to expose this criminal cabal immediately, secure a full, independent investigation, and demand the immediate firing of all complicit officers and leaders. The people of Jaman North need justice.
