The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has retrieved 2,600 AK47 ammunition at the Asankare Police barrier in the Ashanti Region.
Addressing the Media at the Press Conference Deputy Regional Police Commander, ACP, Mr. Cephas Arthur revealed that Police personnel found the ammunition, two bulletproof vests, and helmets in a bus (GT 5771-18) heading Northern part of Ghana.
The two suspects arrested in possession of the weapons are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
