The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into a disturbing incident captured in a viral video, which appears to show the kidnapping and assault of a woman.
The footage, widely circulated on social media, shows a female adult in distress, sparking public concern and calls for swift justice.
According to police, the woman seen in the video is believed to be a victim of both abduction and physical abuse.
In a statement released on Monday, the Ghana Police Service assured the public that efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the individuals involved.
“We assure the public that we are working around the clock to get to the bottom of the matter and bring those behind this act to justice,” the statement said.
Authorities are appealing to anyone with information related to the incident to come forward as investigations continue.
