The Ghana Police Service has declared a suspect identified as Hoyeefi wanted in connection with a robbery attack at Nkaseim in the Ahafo Region, following investigations into a series of coordinated criminal activities in the area.
In a statement signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the Police said intelligence-led investigations had identified Hoyeefi as the leader of a robbery gang responsible for multiple attacks carried out on 2nd December 2025.
According to the Police, the gang allegedly launched coordinated attacks on several key locations, including the Nkaseim Police Station, Adwumapa Cocoa Buying Company, Kobby Gold Buying Company, and areas around the Asutifi Rural Bank.
The attacks, investigators noted, were well-organised and targeted both security installations and commercial entities within the community.
Chief Inspector Babanawo stated that efforts to arrest the suspect are ongoing, adding that the Police are intensifying operations to dismantle the gang and bring all those involved to justice.
As part of measures to facilitate the arrest, the Ghana Police Service has announced a reward of GH¢50,000.00 for any person who provides credible information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
“The general public is encouraged to assist the Police with information on the whereabouts of the suspect,” the statement said, urging anyone with relevant information to report to the nearest police station or contact the Police through the emergency numbers 191, 18555, or 112.
The Police assured the public that all information provided will be treated with the strictest confidentiality, as investigations continue into the Nkaseim robbery attacks.
