According to a preliminary police report, the incident occurred on the Akosombo-Accra Highway between Akuse and Kpong in the Eastern Region.

A dispatch rider travelling from the opposite direction allegedly hurled an object at one of the vehicles in the convoy, damaging its windscreen.

The police have assured the public of a thorough investigation and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the safety of all citizens before, during, and after the 2024 General Elections.
