Kindly join me in calling on the EC to allow the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) to vote with the security agencies. The SDA has an 800,000+ strong Ghanaian membership that is disenfranchised because, by their faith, they do not work on Saturdays and, therefore, do not vote.

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has assured the minority caucus in Parliament, of its cooperation and dedication to maintain law and order during their planned protest scheduled for Tuesday July 30, 2024.
The protest dubbed #OccupyBoGProtest will be the second protest by the minority demanding the resignation of the BOG Governor.
Members of the caucus staged a similar protest on October 3, 2023, after the Bank recorded a GH¢60.81 billion loss in the 2022 fiscal year.
The Minority alleged that, “The Governor of the Central Bank and his board continue to engage in wasteful spending on the new Bank of Ghana Corporate head office building and refuse to answer questions on the latest cost of the building which, we are told, has now further escalated to over Two Hundred and Seventy Million United States Dollars (USD$270 million) from its original estimated cost of USD81,882,640.00.
In a statement acknowledging the caucus’ protest, and assuring them of full support, the police noted that, “the route of your protest shall be from Obra Spot-Adabraka Farisco-Ridge Roundabout National Theatre Traffic Light-High Court Complex, then branch to Atta Mills Highway and terminate at the Kwame Nkrumah Museum.”
Furthermore, the police stated that the minority would choose 10 protestors who would present the petition to the authorities.
