The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has congratulated Commissioner of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno on his new role as the Deputy IGP in charge of operation.
The service in a Facebook post on Thursday, July 18 indicated their commitment to continue to work together with their colleagues to ensure peace, security, law and order in the country.
“The Inspector-General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, Members of the Police Management Board and the entire Police Service wish to congratulate you Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno on your promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police.”
“We wish you all the best as we continue to work together with our colleagues in the pursuit of peace, security, law and order in our beloved country,” the Facebook post said.
President Akufo-Addo in a statement on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 announced the promotion of COP Yohuno to deputy IGP following a police council meeting where his work over the years was acknowledged.
Until his new role, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno was the Director-General in charge of Administration at the Ghana Police Service.
