Police woman stabbed to death by boyfriend at Damongo

A Police Constable has been found dead at her residence at Damongo in the Savannah region on 2nd August, 2021.

Identified as Sandra Asiedu, the Constableย was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be knife stabs.

The body has since been deposited at West Gonja District Hospital, pending investigation.

Police sources suspect she was stabbed to death by her boyfriend who had come over to visit her during the weekend.

The Police Administration has also started processes to inform the family of the deceased and assures that it will update the public on the matter.

The Ghana Police Service is currently on a manhunt for the young man who has been named the prime suspect.
