A police officer with the Nkawkaw Divisional Headquarters has allegedly committed suicide at Akwasiho in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.
Identified as Constable Sarah Adjei, the officer was found dead in a hotel room.
According to information gathered by MyNewsGh from the Police, Constable Sarah Adjei booked and lodged at the Misiho Hotel, located at Akwasiho.
However, at about 7pm on Saturday August 7, 2021, the manager reportedly told the police that he went to check up on the guests and to his amazement, she was found lying dead in prone position on the floor.
Also, blood was found oozing from the nostrils with swollen right cheek.
A search conducted in her bag at the scene revealed that she left a suicide note blaming Timothy Dampare for her actions.
The note read “Dear Mr Timothy Dampare , I told you that I owed people money and you decided to help me, and you have been with me in my house for one week now and you have refused to help me, so if anything happen you have cause it Mr Timothy Dampare. Thank you 0249134983″.
