Addressing the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor of PUG, Prof. John Ofosu-Anim commended the graduating Class of 2025 for their perseverance and dedication, adding that the values of excellence, integrity, discipline, and faith in God remain central to the mission of the University.

He said “Today, we celebrate the culmination of years of your dedication, perseverance, and scholarly pursuit,” acknowledging the pivotal role education plays in national development.
The graduating class included students with an MPhil in Educational Studies, students with an MEd in Educational Studies, students with an MA in International Development Studies, students with MSc in Environmental Health and Sanitation, students with an MSc in Natural Resource Management, students with an MSc in Financial Risk Management and students with Master of Public Health.

Highlighting the relevance of the various programmes, the Vice-Chancellor noted the critical roles these professionals are expected to play in the transformation of the country.
Prof. Ofosu-Anim charged graduates in Educational Studies to reform the country’s education system, while those in International Development were urged to help position Ghana on the global stage.

Again, he emphasized that graduates in Environmental Health, Natural Resource Management, and Public Health, were key players in addressing urgent national challenges such as illegal mining, disease prevention, and sustainable development.

In the field of finance, the Vice-Chancellor lauded the MSc Financial Risk Management programme as a strategic response to economic volatility, with graduates expected to reinforce financial stability and investor confidence.

Prof. Ofosu-Anim further encouraged the graduates, “Let integrity, compassion, and a thirst for knowledge guide you. Your education is not just a personal achievement but a tool for societal transformation.”

He extended gratitude to the University’s Faculty and Administrative Staff for their tireless efforts to achieve set goals and to the families of graduates whose support was instrumental.

The ceremony ended on a hopeful note with a call for the Presbyterian University community to continue fostering innovation, inclusivity, and ethical leadership.
The Vice-Chancellor concluded with a prayerful blessing for the graduates as they transitioned into the next phase of their professional lives.
