President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Dr. Simon Ofori Ametepey as one of the newly sworn-in commissioners of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).
Dr Simon Ofori Ametepey who until his new appointment, has been a lecturer at the Koforidua Technical University (KTU) as the Head of the Department of Sustainable Development, was sworn into office by the President who administered three oaths (oath of office, oath of allegiance and oath of secrecy) to him at the Jubilee House.
He’s also a civil engineer and has many other portfolios to his credit. The President at the same ceremony also swore into office Victor Brobbey, a private legal practitioner as the Deputy Chairman of the NCCE.
Another appointee was Mr Bright Kwabla Agbodeka who was appointed a member of the NCCE board.
He’s one of the Seven Commissioners who have been appointed by President Akufo-Addo.
