President John Dramani Mahama will on Friday, October 17, 2025, host the Prime Minister of Grenada, Honourable Dickon Amiss Thomas Mitchell, for bilateral talks at the Presidency in Accra.

Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday, October 16, at 4:00 p.m., for a two-day official visit. He will be accompanied by Grenada’s Chief of Staff, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development, and other senior government officials.

Shortly after his arrival, the visiting delegation will participate in the first Ghana–Grenada Political Consultation Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration. The meeting will focus on strengthening cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade, education, culture, and tourism.

On Friday morning, President Mahama will officially welcome Prime Minister Mitchell to the Jubilee House for bilateral discussions. The talks are expected to deepen diplomatic and economic ties between Ghana and Grenada, building on existing agreements signed in 2024.
