President John Dramani Mahama will commence a nationwide “Thank You Tour” on Friday, January 24, 2025 starting with a visit to the Volta Region.
This initiative aims to express his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ghana for the overwhelming support and trust they placed in him during the 2024 elections.
The Volta Region, known for its rich cultural heritage, will host a grand durbar to welcome the President. Traditional leaders, religious figures, labour union members, and representatives from the informal sector will come together to honour the occasion.
This tour serves as an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the President and the citizens while celebrating their contributions to national progress.
is also a platform to underscore President Mahama’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, including the swift formation of a cabinet within two weeks of assuming office—a historic milestone in Ghana’s governance.
The Presidency has invited all Ghanaians to join in the celebrations, emphasizing unity, pride, and a shared vision for the country’s future.
This event is anticipated to highlight the President’s determination to address pressing issues facing the nation.
