The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into a viral TikTok video in which a man is heard issuing threats against the President of the Republic, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and the First Lady.
According to the Police, preliminary inquiries led to the arrest of two individuals — Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu — who are currently in custody assisting with the investigation.
Authorities say efforts are underway to locate and question other persons believed to be linked to the recording and dissemination of the video.
The Police have assured the public that all necessary steps will be taken to identify and apprehend every individual connected to the incident.
