The Producer Price Inflation (PPI) for the month of May 2022 was 33.5% percent, the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), has announced on Wednesday June 22.
This indicates that the rate is 2.1 percentage points higher than the rate recorded in April 2022 (31.4%), the GSS said.
Monthly Producer Price Inflation between April 2022 and May 2022 was 3.6 percent.
The Year-on-Year Producer Price Inflation across the sub-sectors for May 2022 were as follows: Manufacturing : 45 percent, Mining and Quarrying 23.9 percent, Utilities 1.1 percent
