The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken decisive steps to reflect on its performance in the 2024 general elections and prepare for future contests.

At a National Council meeting held on Thursday, the party constituted an Election Review Committee tasked with analyzing its participation and outcomes in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The committee, chaired by the esteemed former Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Prof. Mike Oquaye, is expected to engage party stakeholders and the public to gather insights and recommendations. It will deliver a comprehensive report within three months to guide the party’s efforts toward rebuilding and restructuring.

The NPP’s leadership has called on party members and executives to support the committee’s work. “This is a critical moment for reflection and recalibration,” the party’s statement noted, urging full cooperation with the review process.
