Promote Police officers in Ejura for their hard work – Ejurahene to Dampare

Barima Osei Hwedie II Chief of Ejura Divisional Council has stated that police officers in his jurisdiction from the lower to higher ranks need to be promoted.

Speaking at his palace in Ejura when the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah paid a courtesy call on him to inspect a military detachment and commissioning of other projects, Barima said after the murder of Kaaka Macho leading to a clash between the joint military-police deployment resulting in the death of two people and some sustaining injuries in which the victims have compensated by government, the new officers and Commanders have make sure there is peace and violent free in ejura.

He added that there has been a series of robberies and disturbances after such incidents but for the good work and timely intervention of the Regional Security Council (RESEC) headed by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Ashanti North Regional Command, Asante Mampong Divisional Command and Ejura District Command there is calm, peace and unity.

He appeals through the Ashanti Regional Minister to tell IGP to uplift the ranks of the police officers in Ejura.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah after the inspection of the military base yet to be commissioned and commissioning of 4 projects 1 Story Girls Dormitory at Ejuraman Anglican SHS, 1Story 12 Unit classroom block with Office and Store at Akwasi Awobaa II SHS in Anyinasu,1No.6 Unit classroom block with office, store and ICT centre at Nyamebekyer3, and 1 No.6 Unit classroom block with office, store and ICT centre at T.I Ahmadiya in Ejura, he commended Barima Osei Hwedie II for his visionary leadership by leading the Ejura Divisional Council to undertake numerous Developmental projects.

Speaking with the media Hon. Simon Osei Mensah made mention of some projects spearheaded by Ejurahene which are critical for development and that he needs to be applauded.

“Projects such as Medical Superintendent’s Residents at Ejura Government Hospital,7 Bedroom House for GNFS,(Construction of Police Divisional Headquarters, Military base and Circuit Court near completion), providing land and lobbied for yet to be constructed “AGENDA 111 Project” and the support he offered to Ejuraman SHS after the collapse of their Dining hall worth a lot hence the need to praise him,” he said.
