Pentecost University has begun a week-long orientation session for its fresh students for the 2023/24 academic year. This began on Monday 16th January 2023 at the University’s main campus in Sowutuom, Accra.

The fresh students numbering over 1000 who attended day 1 of the session were mainly in the regular school. They were taken through life in the University, dress code, and personal branding on social media, among others.

In a brief interaction with the students, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua congratulated the students on their admission to the University.

The Vice-Chancellor also highlighted the University’s A+ agenda. By this, he said Pentecost University distinguishes itself as a university by offering a kind of training that sharpens both the skill and ethical shrewdness of its students to solve real-life problems.

The Vice-Chancellor, therefore, challenged the fresh students to engage the University A+ agenda from the onset. He also spoke to the students about the availability of structures and systems that will enrich their holistic experience on the PU campus. He concluded with a prayer for the students, their families and their beneficiaries.

On her part, Mrs Felicia Agyemang Badu, the Students’ Support Officer who doubles as the hall Tutor for Yeboah Hall also encouraged the students to patronize the services of her offices which include receiving and dealing with complaints, internships, counselling, and mentorship among others. She also addressed the dress code for students and asked them to strictly abide by it as it will draw them dignity and respect.
