The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has commenced sitting for the year 2022 to scrutinize the Auditor-General’s Reports on the Public Accounts of Ghana: on Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), for the year ending 2018.
The Committee, chaired by the Deputy Minority Leader, Mr. James Klutse on Monday, February 7 looked at two Ministries, Finance and Education and the Departments and Agencies that fall under them.
These include Controller and Accountant General’s Department, Ghana Statistical Service, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA): Customs Division-Tema Oil Refinery, Free Zones- Tema, GRA- Customs Division-Elubo, GRA- Domestic Tax Revenue Division (DTRD), GRA- Auctions Unit, GRA- Small Tax Office (STO), Tamale and GRA- Regional Budget Office, Tamale.
The Ministry of Education also presented Departments and Agencies such as: Headquarters and Treasury Payroll, Ghana Library Authority, Model Nursery School, Ghana Education Service – Ada East District Education office, Ghana Education Service -Nkawkaw, Ghana Education Service-Kpassa and Social Welfare Girls Vocational School-Cape Coast.
