A severe rainstorm tore through Taifa-Obohene Down in the Dome Kwabenya constituency of the Greater Accra Region last night, leaving a trail of destruction and displacing several residents.
According to Seth Kofi Osei Kissi, the Ga East Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), the storm began around 7:30 p.m. and lasted for several hours.
Fierce winds ripped off roofs, exposing homes to torrential rain, while floodwaters submerged multiple houses, worsening the devastation.
