The Accra High Court has thrown out the election petition filed by Ras Appiah Levi.
The election has been on hold since July 2019 as the embattled executive has been in and out of court with several issues including blotted registration and election malpractice.
Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, former Greater-Accra Regional Branch Chairman of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), filed an interlocutory injunction against MUSIGA holding its general election.
Appiah-Levi also indicated that there were many allegations and counter-allegations from the majority of members and stakeholders of how the MUSIGA had been mismanaged during Obourโs tenure.
