Ghanaian Hiplife legend, Reggie Rockstone and his wife Zilla Limann, both old students of Achimota School have announced not to be part of anything relating to the institution.
Their reason for exempting themselves from any AKORA related activities is as a result of the school refusing to admit students who have dreadlocks.
In a video circulating on social media, the grandpapa expressed worry over how why Achimota School denied the young rasta access to high school education on their campus because of his locs.
“Everything to do with Motown is on pause with me. Don’t call me for nothing, don’t call me for no year group. I like to go where I am welcome.” Reggie said
Reggie’s wife, Zilla Limann who is also an old student of Achimota stressed that “Motown is now no-town.”
The public uproar regarding parents of the students with the dreadlocks and Achimota school is still raging as the school insist they cannot be admitted until they cut off the hair.
The Ghana Education Service has reversed an earlier directive asking the authorities of Achimota school to admit the students.
