“On the surface, it might seem like quality facilities equal quality education. So, when parents are looking at schools, many understandably assess quality based on the facilities they see or hear about,” Ms. Aubynn stated.
But she said quality education goes beyond the facilities and buildings adding that quality education must be measured in all-inclusive and cultivate a love of learning and aptitude for acquiring new knowledge and skills that should last a lifetime.
She said in choosing quality, parents should consider a nurturing environment that fosters the full realization of a learners’ rights and capabilities and this is “why RECT Academy prays for every learner and creates a supportive environment that helps each one succeed in whatever God has destined them to do.”
RECT sets high standards for both learners and staff, through constant supervision and in assessing quality, parents should also look out for a school that has the ability to foster positive behaviors and a concern for the child’s wellbeing.
