The National Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah is currently fighting for his life following a near fatal accident.
According to reports the incident occurred on Saturday morning around 1:30 am on the Kumasi-Accra highway near Aduapompo.
Further reports indicate that the NPP communications director was the sole occupant of his vehicle when collided with an articulated truck.
Confirming the news, the Ashanti Regional Communications Director for the NPP, Paul Kwabea Yadoh, said he is responding to treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
