A police officer has been fatally shot dead while another sustained injuries during an armed robbery attack at Zebilla in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 8, 2026.
The Ghana Police Service has since issued an official statement confirming the incident and announcing that investigations have been launched to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
