A suspected robbery gang leader has allegedly escaped from the Ngleshie Amanfro District Police Command.
The incident happened on Thursday October 16, 2025.
The fugitive, believed to be a Nigerian national was arrested that day earlier in the morning together with two accomplices by a police patrol team.
They were handed over to Chief Inspector Dela Kumador and Constable Charles Tawiah, who were manning the station’s counter at the time.
The suspect reportedly took the advantage to escape when he was allowed to use the restroom.
