As part of its commitment to promoting health and well-being, Rock City Hotel has commenced this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a free breast cancer screening and education exercise for members of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Ghana Chapter.
The event forms part of the hotel’s broader “Rock City Cares” initiative — a goodwill program dedicated to advancing health and social impact across communities.
The session, which took place during PMI Ghana’s monthly chapter meeting, offered participants free breast cancer screenings conducted by qualified medical professionals. It also featured an interactive educational talk highlighting breast cancer symptoms, early detection methods, and preventive care.
The initiative marks the beginning of a month-long series of health-focused activities, as Rock City Hotel gears up to host another breast cancer screening in October, extending its outreach to more individuals and communities. Through these efforts, the hotel continues to demonstrate its leadership in corporate social responsibility and its commitment to public health advocacy.
