Over the years, there have been several arguments about lodging at a place during one’s leisure time for a vacation.

Places to visit are more in Ghana but, a place to feel at home is less. Getting an ultra-modern place just like the ones in the western world is something to write home about.

Because of that, most Ghanaian citizens spend huge money to travel outside the world to find a place for relaxation.

Meanwhile, in Ghana’s Eastern region of Nkwatia in the city of Kwahu sits Rock City Hotel, Africa’s Largest Resort, which has got Ghanaians and people around the world covered in terms of looking for a place for conferences, movie and music video shooting, restaurants and many more.

Rock City Hotel, owned by Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency, Honorable Bryan Acheampong has the biggest underground Night club with 2000 seating capacity and it is the largest Night club in West Africa. It has 35 conference halls and meeting rooms with an exhibition hall both indoor and outdoor, and a business centre as well as a helipad.

The hotel also has standard facilities like 3 pools, 8 restaurants, 2 tennis courts, 3 Gyms, a SPA as well as religious rooms.

Citizens who have been there have shared their views in terms of customer service, furniture, dishes served and many money

“It’s a home away from home and the serene environment and great scenery give much pleasure. The food is great, the staff are very friendly. it’s a good place to relax and have fun. I will go back anytime I want to unwind. You can do a private tour of the whole Kwahu township and the scenery is superb,” a customer shared after her departure.

The “Enjoyment” music video of the Lynx Entertainment signed vocalist KiDi was shot at the prestigious hotel.

The video did not only reveal the amazing facility but the sight of a cool and comfortable climate.

Several prominent people have expressed the good works and serene environment in Rock City on many media platforms including our very own Radio XYZ.

Entertainment Pundit, Sammy said that the largest hotel in West Africa, Rock City Hotel is an ideal place for relaxation.

In an interview with Radio XYZ, he stated that the serene environment and the pure African culture being exhibited along the road caught his attention.

According to him, the hotel’s customer service is the best amongst the rest and thus, urged Ghanaians who are not able to travel out of the country due to the high cost inflated with that, can look nowhere than the Rock City Hotel.

At the recent Kwahu festival, Accra FM’s Tales of Love host, Odilia Odasani stated, “Rock City stands out of all the places in Kwahu. They have a great automated system for services. reception is professional and apt, it’s easy to navigate on the map as well. Their rooms are conducive with perfect Mountain Views. They have one of the cleanest pools in Ghana with safety tools. The restaurant is beautiful, however, I suffered from a slight stomach upset after my first bite and is not sure of the cause. The word out there says is the biggest hotel in Africa but I guess that will be true after the fully through with the project. I was told prices have been highly discounted since amenities are not in full operation but I bet to differ since I paid quite a lot on basic things like food and lodging.”

Bryan Acheampong’s vision for what he reportedly calls Ghana’s Golden Castle began more than a decade ago.

The foundation for the resort was laid in 2008 and once construction is complete by Acheampong’s 2025 goal, it will have a total of 2,700 rooms, a world-class aquarium and water park, a zoo, an 18 and nine-hole course, and more.
