Businessman Roland Agambire has dismissed reports suggesting he owns African Industrial Solutions, a company embroiled in discussions over Ghana’s road tolling system.
In an official statement, Agambire denied any connection to the firm, refuting what he described as a misleading news headline and subsequent publications linking him to the company.
“The attention of Mr. Roland Agambire has been drawn to a misleading news headline and publication suggesting he owns a company called African Industrial Solutions,” the statement read. “He wishes to state that he does not own the said company, and the headline and publication are not only misleading but false.”
Agambire urged the public to disregard the misinformation and warned that he would take legal action should such false claims continue to circulate.
This clarification comes amid ongoing discussions regarding Ghana’s road tolling system, with various stakeholders calling for transparency in the selection of firms involved. The debate has intensified over concerns that rushed decisions could lead to inefficiencies in the long run.
Agambire’s statement aims to set the record straight as scrutiny over the tolling process grows, highlighting the need for accurate reporting in the unfolding national conversation.
