The SADC forces are planning to extend its military mission in Mozambique to eradicate ISIL allied Sunnah wa Jammah group (ASWJ) by April.
The officials said that after 3 months, samim’s mandate would automatically be extended for another three months, but at a different level.

Infantry and other support elements would be bought in to back up the special forces, holding ground captured from the insurgents and setting up civic structures to help the displaced and terrorized local population.
The SADC forces are made up of countries mapping up in the Southern Part of the African continent. The Wa Jammah ISIL affiliated terror group has been inflicting attacks on Mozambiquens for sometime now, forcing many people to abandon their homes.
