Actress and film producer Yvonne Nelson has chastised Ghanaians, claiming that we tend to be unkind and fail to give credit where credit is due.
Asked about what she thinks about the negativity that has greeted Bob Marley’s “Stir it up” remake that featured rapper Sarkodie on the GTV Breakfast show with Kafui Dey, she said it is a win for Ghana so people should stop being negative.
“When we are supposed to celebrate, we don’t and it is something we should stop because it is not good for our mental health.
“People are supposed to celebrate wins like this. I don’t think it was easy getting on a track like that so it is good, it’s a win for him and Ghana, for the continent and it is beautiful that he has been able to collaborate with Bob Marley.” she ended.
