President of Senegal, Macky Sall has wished Sadio Mane a speedy recovery after picking up an injury playing for Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
The Senegal forward was substituted in Bayern’s 6-1 Bundesliga victory over Werder Bremen after 20 minutes due to what appeared to be a knee injury.
Reports from the French paper L’Equipe suggests that Mane will miss the world cup which comes as a huge blow to Senegal.
President Macky Sall however took to Twitter to wish Sadio a speedy recovery.
“Sadio, I wish you a speedy recovery from your injury in the Bayern-Werder Bremen game. As I told you: Sadio, Lionheart! With all my heart with you! God bless you!”
