A fatal road crash has left several people severely injured after two vehicles collided near Dawu Junction off Obuasi road.
The incident occurred when a car with a direction from Obuasi reportedly at a speed crashed into another vehicle during overtaking in an attempting to join the main road from the Dawu Junction side.
Eyewitnesses say the impact was very severe, leading to devastating injuries among passengers.
According to report, some victims suffered broken legs and critical head injuries, while others sustained serious spinal injuries.
Emergency responders quickly arrived to assist the injured, who were rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for urgent medical care. Medical officials are working to stabilize the victims, as families and authorities await updates on their condition.
Personnel from the Ghana Police Service were also present at the scene to manage traffic as it begins investigation into the cause of the accident.
