The Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku Constituency, Hon. Linda Akweley Obenewa Ocloo has on Friday, April 8th 2022, redeemed a campaign pledged she made to her Constituency with the donation of fifty (50) brand new motorcycles to the Shaiosudoku wards in the Greater Accra Region.
The gesture, according to the MP, is in fulfilment of her 2019 parliamentary primaries promised to empower and resource members of the National Democratic Congress in all the branches to enable them to carry out their mandate and the party’s day-to-day activities at the branch level.
The Member of Parliament who is in Parliament for the second time said there is no better time to revamp the party and initiate victory 2024 other than the present.
Hon. Linda Obenewa Akweley Ocloo added, “this donation is in line with preparations towards rebuilding and restructuring the NDC party towards election 2024. So all branch executives must work very hard and make good use of the motorbikes in order to deliver victory for the NDC in the next general elections”.
The branch executives acknowledged the efforts by the MP to equip the grassroots and described the donation as one that would motivate the rank and file of the party to recapture power.
“This is the first time since 1992 that branches in the constituency are receiving much attention and I pledged on behalf of the grassroots, with a commitment to use the motorbikes to the advantage of the party and deliver both parliamentary and presidential election results in 2024,”
Another branch member, noted, “you are a true woman and mother and your words are not empty because these motorcycles have said it all. But we also need to give attention to daughters’ education so that tomorrow when we are gone, they can also stand in for us just like you today”.

Meanwhile, the MP supports needy but brilliant students at the tertiary; provided water to Rhama Town and Health Centers across the constituency.
