Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has launched a new ride-hailing app- Shaxi in Accra on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
At a colorful event held at the Alisa Hotel, the multiple award-winning artiste said the initiative is to aimed at providing jobs for the youth in various communities.
“Everybody knows I love the youth of Ghana and I always want to see them do well. I want to see the boys and girls in the ghettos move from being unemployed to having gainful employment,’’ he said.
Shaxi becomes the latest ride-hailing application and it is already charting at number two on the apple play store with a 4.3 rating.
The artiste added that his motives for setting up the business are not for profit-making but intends to make an impact and leave a mark.
‘’Shaxi is not for Shatta Wale and friends, it’s a Ghanaian project for Ghanaians. So let’s all embrace it and make it happen,’’ he added.
