The footage captures a soldier exchanging harsh words and physical gestures with two uniformed police officers. The situation quickly escalates into a scuffle as bystanders looked on in shock. The clash reportedly took place in a public setting, though the exact location and cause remain unclear.

Public Reaction

The video has sparked mixed reactions online. Many Ghanaians expressed disappointment, questioning how trained officers of the law and military could resort to open confrontation in public.

Others speculated about possible causes, ranging from disagreements over enforcement duties to personal disputes.

From the video, one of the police officers could be heard profusely complaining about an indiscipline act being meted out to them by military officer. The police officer recounted a harrowing overtaking by the military officer that nearly caused injuries to his feet.

“You see the overtaking you made? Do they do overtaking in such manner? How can you do overtaking in this area? No, he’s being uncultured”, the officer angrily said.

Call for Accountability

So far, no official statement has been issued by the Ghana Police Service or the Ghana Armed Forces regarding the clash. However, security analysts argue that such incidents damage public trust and highlight the need for stricter internal disciplinary measures.

What’s Next

With the video circulating widely, many Ghanaians are calling for a formal investigation to establish the facts and ensure that those involved are held accountable. The incident has reignited discussions about the importance of professionalism, coordination, and respect among the country’s security services.
