Stakeholders in Ghana’s startup and innovation ecosystem have presented key documents to the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Mr. Samuel Nartey George, as part of ongoing efforts to develop the Ghana Innovation and Startup Bill.
The submitted documents include the Workplan of Activities and the Roadmap for Drafting the Legal Instrument, outlining strategic steps towards finalizing the bill.
These submissions follow a previous engagement with the Minister last week, where stakeholders discussed the importance of a structured legal framework to support Ghana’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape.
The Ghana Innovation and Startup Bill aims to establish a supportive regulatory environment for startups, foster digital entrepreneurship, and strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem. The submission of these documents represents a key milestone in advancing policy reforms that will drive economic growth and technological development.
Hon. Samuel Nartey George commended stakeholders for their dedication and collaboration in shaping a progressive and inclusive innovation policy, reaffirming the government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for startups and innovators.
