The Black Star Square in Accra is today the scene of a solemn state funeral in honour of six of the eight victims of last week’s fatal Ghana Armed Forces helicopter crash.

The ceremony, which  has so far been marked by the reading of tributes, has drawn a wide range of mourners who continue to trickle in to pay their final respects. The event is being attended by members of the clergy, senior security officials, political party representatives, and dignitaries from across the country.
