Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has pledged his support for the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, committing funds to the team’s World Cup Fund.

He announced a donation of $81,000 and revealed an additional $20,000 investment to produce a new song for the team as they prepare for the tournament.

“In terms of contribution,…I will be donating $81,000” Stonebwoy said in his speech at the fundraising program.

Stonebwoy shares a close bond with Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus and has been spotted at several club matches involving the Tottenham Hotspur star.

Following Kudus’ high-profile move from West Ham United to Spurs in the past offseason, Stonebwoy recorded a tribute song in honour of the midfielder.

At the 2026 World Cup, Ghana is in Group L with England, Panama, and Mexico.
